But before we get started, let's have a quick talk about plugins. These steps should work the same for both version 8 and 9 of Ableton Live Intro, Standard, and Suite.

(There's also a Mac OS bridging solution for 32-bit AU plugins, called 32 Lives.) Your onboard sound card.inside the the pc like Realtek or something.unclick it and leave only your Sound Card/Audio Interface)ģ.If it does not work, repair your operating system(win 7).Never done it on Win7 but on Xp you insert the original disc and re-start pc.and boot through the disc and there'll be options to either repair the operating system or re-install it afresh.I never lose my files when I do this. You may have to reinstall the hardwares (audio interface, printer) which Windows will prompt you to do when first switch them on after repair of the Operating System.Įach time I did this last part, the Asio spikes cease immediately.until maybe after downloading a particular batch of windows update.so take note of that. Please note that while this post is specifically about Windows, there is a Mac OS version of jBridge, called jBridgeM.

I have also realized that I could really do with getting a new soundcard as the newest driver update from motu didn't work and I'm using the driver that came on original cd. but after going through as many possible solutions as I could possible think of. how and why I do not know, and I'm not clever enough to understand. Only after a zillion restarts and and loading each plugin one by one, testing it, and then doing the next one.it seems to be working.so far.įrom what I can gather the vst bridge is crashing the asio. After re-installing all the plugins and vst intsrument (with jbridge) and making sure everything was installed in the correct place it seems to be behaving itself, and alll whilst running in 64-bit!. The exact thought went through my head, however, it seems I have managed to cure the problem. Generic Non-PnP Monitor GeForce 6200 TurboCache(TM) (XFX Pine Group)

No change at all.Īm running out of possible solutions and was wondering if anybody here is having similar problems with cubase 6.as any help would be really appreciated.Ĥ.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 663MHz (9-9-9-24)ĪSUSTeK Computer INC.

I've also tried switching off all effects, plugins and vst instruments and switching between the motu drivers and asio 4 all. I've made sure I have installed the latest cubase update and also the latest motu drivers, but no success. Unfortunately, I am unable to open up old projects as the asio instantly overloads and the sound glitches out. I've just upgraded from cubase studio 4 to cubase artist 6 64-bit on my pc running windows 7 64-bit, and my soundcard is a motu 828 mk2.
